METHOD FOR TREATING PURULENT CAVITIES WITH CONTROLLED DRAINAGE

FIELD: medicine. SUBSTANCE: method involves setting drainage tube on fibroscope before starting treatment. Purulent cavity is punctured with trocar, stilet is removed, fibroscope is introduced through drainage tube, drainage tube is introduced along the fibroscope. Purulent cavity is washed and optimum position of drain is selected by means of fibroscope. Purulent cavity is treated using syringes and vacuum suction unit, its dynamic examination is made by means of fibroscope to make decision concerning continuation of treatment cycle or finishing it with drainage tube removed from the cavity. EFFECT: enhanced effectiveness of treatment; excluded surgical intervention.
