Artificial mineral fibres with Ki > 40 and the mean thickness of 5 micrometres to 9 micrometres in which the raw materials for the preparation of artificial mineral fibres with the briquetting procedure are transformed into briquettes, suitable for the melting in the cupola furnace at 1300 degrees Centigrade to 1500 degrees Centigrade and defibrating on the system of counter-rotating 2, 3 or 4 wheels and with the use of an intermediate after heat pan, additional after heat heaters on wheels and discharge on wheels and low pressure in the collecting chamber; the chemical composition of the mineral fibres is determined with the following ratios of oxides in percentage by weight: X(SiO2)=39-54.1 % by weight, X(CaO)=26-35 % by weight, X(MgO)=12-18 % by weight, X(BaO)=0-4 % by weight, X(TiO2)=0-0.2 % by weight, X(Fe2O3)=0.3-4.5 % by weight, X(Na2O)+ X(K2O)=0-5.1 % by weight, X(Al2O3)=0.8-3.1 % by weight, residue less than 1 % by weight.
|
