PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To integrally mold a thin protective film having a smooth surface and markedly enhanced in toughness on an exposed surface by subjecting to a simultaneous extrusion molding of a synthetic resin of the thin protective film composed of a compsn. wherein a polyolefin resin having properties such as chemical resistance or the like is mixed in a resin of the same type having high vescosity and low flowability, and a synthetic resin of a weather strip main body. SOLUTION: The thin protective films 5 coming into contact with a door glass window 6 are applied to the leading ends of the vertical support pieces 3 formed in mutually opposed relation to an attaching part 2 in the longitudinal direction of a weather strip main body 1 and polymerized to mold glass pressure contact parts 4 in a bent from. A polyolefinic resin based on a polyolefic resin low in friction resistance and having chemical resistance, low viscosity and high flowability and having high viscosity and low flowability is mixed with the thin protective films 5 to be used. The synthetic resin of the styrenic thermoplastic elastomer of the weather strip main body 1 and the mixed synthetic resin of the thin protective films 5 are simultaneously extruded by using two extrusion molding machines to be superposed one upon another. As a result, the opening and closing operation of door glass is made light and smooth and a weather strip can be used over a long period of time in a mutually strongly bonded state. |
