PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent deteriorated quality of media information to be sent in the case of sending a plurality of kinds of media data. SOLUTION: A transmitter side equipment uses a designation means 21 to designate a same ISDN line 2 to images and characters according to the assignment relation among media data and transmission lines specified on a designation table 20 whose contents are changed at any time by a revision device 19 and to designate a telephone line 3 for voice signals, then a multiplexer demultiplexer 16 multiplexes the images and the characters to generate a multiplexed stream, and the generated multiplexed stream is sent by a transmitter-receiver 17 via the ISDN line 2 and the voice signals are sent via the telephone line 3. A receiver side equipment uses a management means 23 to manage the assignment relation among media data and transmission lines in cross reference with transmitter side equipments, a multiplexer demultiplexer 16 demultiplexes the images and characters from the multiplexed stream received via the ISDN line 2 and the demultiplexed images and characters and voice signals received via the telephone line 3 are reproduced and outputted. |
