PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a karaoke device in which the extension of a hard disk or the like is unnecessary and the deletion of musical data of karaoke musical pieces, which are already transmitted, is unnecessary in a karaoke device storing plural transmitted karaoke musical pieces. SOLUTION: A CPU part 7 receives musical data of karaoke musical pieces from a host computer through a telephone lines and a modem 5 to temporarily store them in a RAM 7b. The CPU part 7 compares the residual amount of the storage of a main storage device 6 with a musical data capacity and when the residual amount of the storage is larger than the musical data capacity, the CPU part 7 stores the musical data in the main storage device 6 as they are, however, when the residual amount of the storage is smaller, after the CPU part 7 moves the musical data of a karaoke musical piece whose possibility to be selected is small to a substorage device 15, the CPU part 7 stores the musical data in the storage device 6. |
