This invention refers to a unit for thermo-sizing of heel counter stiffeners made of synthetic sole, designed for use in the footwear industry, for the phase of soaking the heel counter stiffeners with various size solutions in fireproof water dispersion. The unit consists of a bed frame (A), a chain conveyer (B), a driving mechanism (C), a solution feeder (D) and a drying unit (E). The bed frame (A) is made of welded profiled segments and thick metal sheets, provided with an upper suction hood (1) within which an air fan (2) is mounted. The chain conveyor (B) is made of two loop chain strands (3) resting on sprockets (4) with idlers (5) linked together by linking rods (6) on which, by means of a rod (7), the props with heel counter stiffeners are fixed by means of clippers (8). The driving mechanism (C) consists of a driving shaft (9), on which the sprockets (3) are mounted together with an indexing gear (10), an air-operated cylinder (11), on whose rod a pulley fork (12) is mounted, retained by a spring (13) to the indexing gear. The feeder (D) consists of a dead level container (14), with a tilted tray (16) that receives the size solution from a closed container (15). The drying unit (E) consists of two areas with different air conditions, one with warm air flow (17) and one with cold air flow (18) within which the air fan (19) and a panel of electric resistors (20) are mounted.
