Basin for solar collector

The basin (1) receives a heat insulation layer (1'), and is made from laminated wood at least in the region of the basin side walls (8,9,13). The base of the basin is made from a material with which a minimal total weight can be realised. The heat insulation layer and the basin are made in an integrated way from laminated wood. The grains of the wood chippings are the same for both layers. The inner side of the basin is coated with a heat-reflecting film. The heat insulation layer has falls (5) which serve as recesses for cables and pipes. Threaded inserts are located in the insulation layer, into which absorbtion strips (17) can be screwed.
