AIR BAG MODULE USED FOR SIDE COLLISION

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a simple and effective combination structure of an inflator and an air bag and to provide a pocket storing the inflator in the air bag with ease. SOLUTION: An air bag module 10 used for a side face collision is provided with an air bag 30 and an inflator 32 which is operated so as to feed inflating fluid for inflating the air bag 30. The air bag 30 is provided with the first main body part, the second main body part, and the first retainer part arranged between these main body parts. The first retainer part and the first main body part in the air bag 30 constitute a pocket, in which the inflator 32 and a diffuser 34 are arranged, inside the air bag 30 partially at least. Two sides of the pocket are closed together by means of a sewed part.
