PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To almost completely remove volatile org. chlorine compds. included in a soil and to detoxify a soil by adding and mixing a material which can react with the volatile org. chlorine compds. to produce Friedel salts in the soil containing volatile org. chlorine compds. SOLUTION: In a soil containing volatile org. chlorine compds. (VOCs) which are used in a large amt. in electronic industry, etc., a material which can react with the volatile org. chlorine compds. to produce Friedel salts is added and mixed to modify VOCs in a soil and detoxify and stabilize VOCs. Namely, by adding calcium oxide and a compd. containing aluminum or a calcium aluminate compd. to a soil, Friedel salts are produced in the soil containing VOCs. As for the compd. containing aluminum, At(OH)3 , Al2 O3 , etc., can be used, and as for the calcium aluminate compd., 3CaO.Al2 O3 , etc., can be used. |
