<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To facilitate extraction of characteristics of a complicated pulse train signal by storing characteristic information of a pulse train signal of a known transmitter and comparing this with characteristic information of an input pulse train signal for checking. SOLUTION: Transmission pulse train of various known transmitters are stored in advance for each type in a database 25. When a pulse train signal is received, a PRI/PD measurement part 21 measures pulse repetition time and pulse width of the pulse train signal. Measurement results are temporarily stored in a memory 22 as characteristic information. When the measurement results of pulse train signals during a predetermined period have been accumulated in the memory 22, a searching part 23 appropriately reads the pulse train measurement results from the memory 22 and successively compares them with pulse train of the database 25 for checking. If matching is obtained on several kinds of pulse train by this comparison and checking, the searching part 23 identifies a transmitter having matched types and outputs the results as signal classification results.</p> |
