AIR BAG DEVICE FOR VEHICLE AND ITS CASING

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent movement of an inflator and an air bag by external force at the time of installing a casing, by forming a projection to pressurize the inflator toward an external wall part on an inwall part where a cover member of the casing faces against the external wall part through the inflator. SOLUTION: A projection 44 is formed by an inwall part facing against each through hole 31c through an inflator 50 is formed on a cover member 30. External force works to push each of projected parts 44a of the projection 44 from its head end through the inflator 50. The projection 44 pushes the inflator 50 back by its reaction. The inflator 50 is sandwiched between a rear part inwall of a casing member 30 and the projection 44 of a cover member 40. The cover member 30 is engaged with an engaged part 34 of the casing member 30 by its engaging part 42. The inflator 50 and an air bag 60 are held at proper storage positions in the inside of the casing member 30 without moving by being influenced by external force.
