An electrical drive unit for an integral or multi-element door wing, whose drive operates with a DC motor and a controller which is suitably matched thereto, the DC voltage being obtained by rectification of the secondary winding voltage of a mains-operated transformer (6) whose primary winding is constructed such that it is split into at least two parts, in order to reduce the operating costs, and the two primary winding sections can be connected jointly or individually with the aid of a switching device (7, 8), to be precise as a function of an input signal which switches the series circuit of the at least two primary windings over to a circuit of one of the at least two primary windings.
