Disclosed is a method and device for the manufacture of an inductive component with a self-enclosed tape-wound core, which is wound onto a divisible winding body (2) with fabricated coils slid on to it (5). The fabricated coils (5) are slid onto the first part (3) of the winding body, the first and second parts (3, 4) of the winding body are connected to each other, a conveyor belt (6) is fastened to the winding body (2) and firmly connected to a soft magnetic band (8) and a tape-wound core (10) is wound onto the winding body (2) by means of a winding device (9) actuating the conveyor belt (6).
