PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve the problem in which, when a pixel signal is transmitted from an imaging chip to a signal processing chip, a pixel signal of part of the pixels may be missing owing to poor connection in a bump connection, which consequently reduces image quality since, when a pixel signal of part of the pixels is missing, the signal processing chip cannot acquire the pixel signal of the part of the pixels.SOLUTION: The imaging element includes: an imaging chip provided with pixels and an output coil that outputs a pixel signal from the pixels; and a signal processing chip provided with an input coil that inputs the pixel signal from the output coil by electromagnetic coupling, and a processing circuit that performs signal processing of the pixel signal input from the input coil. |
