Nozzle for blowing secondary air in a combustion furnace

The blower consists of a rectangular-section housing with four walls in two facing pairs - a first pair (6A) and a second pair (6B) which can be turned about an axis of rotation (7) passing through the first pair. The two other sides of the housing are open and form its intake and outlet (6C) for the air flow. The housing contains a series of shutters (12A, 12B) which lie perpendicular to its second pair of walls (6B), each shutter capable of rotation about a pivot (13) by an actuator. The housing is made from corrugated sheet metal and reinforced at its outlet by bars (11) which are fixed to the second pair of walls and lie parallel to the first pair.
