PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a lamp for vehicle, which prevents the front face lens from being installed erroneously upside down. SOLUTION: A lamp for vehicle is composed of a lamp body 10 accommodating a bulb, a front face lens 30 installed on the front surface of the fixture body 10, a long and a short engaging groove 23 and 21 furnished outside the peripheral edges opposing while the bulb in the front opening of the body 10 is interposed and a long and a short engaging projection 33 and 31 which are furnished inside the peripheral edge of the lens 30 and are engaged by the body side grooves 23 and 21. A front extending part 31a is formed at the peripheral edge of a lens where the shorter projection 31 is formed, and when the lens 30 is installed upside down at the body peripheral edge where the longer groove 33 is formed, it will abut on the lens side extension part 31a so as to form an outward extending part 24 which hinders the shorter projection 31 from engaging with the longer groove 23. Therefore, when the lens is installed upside down, the longer projection 33 does not engage with the shorter groove 21 and the shorter projection 31 does not engage with the longer groove 23, and the lens 30 is repelled off from the body 10 by a elastic force. |
