PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a cordless telephone set and an IC circuit for the cordless telephone set which prevents malfunction of an ambient noise eliminating function and also reduces power consumption. SOLUTION: A cordless telephone set is provided with a communication control part 19 which performs communication control according to a communication protocol, a microphone 11 which collects a transmitting voice and outputs a transmitting voice signal, a noise estimating parts 31 and 32 which estimate an ambient noise by using the transmitting voice signal outputted from the microphone 11 and a noise eliminating part 33 which uses the ambient noise estimated by the parts 31 and 32 and eliminates the ambient noise from the transmitting voice signal which is an output of the microphone 11. The telephone set is further provided with a protocol deciding part 30 which decides the kinds of protocol phase, channel or transmitting messages, based on slot information which is acquired from the part 19, and the parts 31 and 32 estimate an ambient noise based on a decided result which is obtained from the part 30. |
