PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a device which prevents the trouble, such as contamination of a rotary polyhedral mirror by infiltration of the outdoor air from the apertures of a cap member, has high performance, is suitable for a trend toward higher speeds and is low in a maintenance cost by integrally molding an elastomer which comes elastically into tight contact with a connector, etc., in the apertures. SOLUTION: Electric connecting means, such as a cable 13a and a connector 13 for connecting the motor 3a of the rotary polyhedral mirror 3 to a controller 7 are led out through the apertures disposed at housing means, such as optical box 8 and cap member 9. If there are gaps between the apertures and the connector 13, etc., the outdoor air infiltrates therefrom and there is the possibility that the reflection surfaces of the rotary polyhedral mirror 3 are contaminated and, therefore, the elastomer 16 which comes elastically into tight contact with the connector 13, etc., are integrally molded in the apertures of the cap member 9, etc. As a result, the infiltration of the outdoor air from the apertures of the cap member 9, etc., is prevented and the contamination of the rotary polyhedral mirror 3 by the outdoor air is averted. |
