PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a radio communication system where plural slave sets are simultaneously connected to a single external communication line. SOLUTION: Communication between master-slave set and slave-slave set is performed in a time-division system and a frequency hopping system. Normal speech communication and conference speech communication are conducted. In the conference speech communication, the master set 10 compresses voice data from a line into 1/4 in a transmitting slot TB1 and transmits it to 1st and 2nd extensions 32 and 132. The extension 32 compresses voice data from a set into 1/4 in a transmitting slot TH1 and transmits it to the machine 10 and the slave set 132. Similarly, the extension 132 compresses voice data from a microphone into 1/4 in a transmitting slot TK2 and transmits it to the machine 10 and the extension 32. Each master set 10 and slave sets 32 and 132 receives the voice data in two receiving slots (RB1, RB2, etc.,), separately expands them into four times to synthesize them into one voice data and then outputs it to a speaker. |
