An aqueous dispersion adhesive based on polyvinyl acetate (I) as binder and added pyrogenic silica (II) contains less than 5 wt.% high-boiling solvent (III) and 0.1-2.0 wt.% (II) w.r.t. the dispersion. Also claimed is the production of the adhesive by incorporating (II) in the dispersion.
