Pipe clip for corrosion prevention of press-fitted sleeve connections of steel tubes

The clip has a barrel-shaped outer contour with end faces corresponding to the outer cross-section of a specific pipe. The clip receives the pipe and then shaped so that the pipe clip either fits flush on the outer sleeve of the pipe or leaves a ring gap. The barrel shaped body can be circular, parabolic or elliptical and the clip may have a twin-shelled structure with shape-giving outer shell (1) and protective insulating and/or acoustically damping elastic or plastic inner shell (2) protecting the pipe. Further shells or layers may be provided between the inner and outer shell.
