PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce the burden of user's operation. SOLUTION: When a user performs mail retrieval by fields by using pop-up menus 10A and 10B, retrieval results are displayed. On this screen, when an initial letter is selected, words having the initial character are displayed in a display area 11B as to key words used for the retrieval by the fields. When the user selects one word, the English word of the selected word is displayed in a display area 11E. |
