PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a wet system image forming device capable of completely removing the excess liquid although almost part of the excessive liquid is removed by excess liquid removing means, and completely taking off deterioration of the image quality derived from instability of the transferring efficiency. SOLUTION: This device is constituted so as to form an electrostatic latent image on the surface of a photoreceptor 1, to perform development of the electrostatic latent image by the developer of wet system developing means 8, to remove the excess solvent on the photoreceptor by excess solvent removing means 9 of a roller type, to fix the toner image on the photoreceptor by toner fixing means 10 of the discharge system, and to transfer the toner image on the photoreceptor to a transfer material 7 by transferring means 11. The device is composed so as to provide drying means 12 capable of removing the solvent component on at least non-image part between a position after passing the excess solvent removing means 9 on the photoreceptor surface and reaching the transferring means position 5 among the wet type developer stuck on the photoreceptor. |
