Use is claimed in treating keratin fibres of hydrogel-formers (HGFs) in liposomally-structured aqueous media, the HGF preferably being an anionic one (especially a polymer with carboxylate and/or sulphonate groups) or a nonionic polymer. Claimed aqueous agents for such treatments comprise (i) the HGF and (ii) phospholipid, sphingolipid and/or ceramide liposomes.
