<p>A catheter (10) for extracting cranial cavity humors comprising an elongated tube portion (12), a head portion (13) and a plurality of holes (14) formed at the tube portion (12) near said head portion (13). The tube portion (12) is formed with an extraction duct (12a) for extraction of a humor in the cranial cavity, and an injection duct (12b) for injection of a thrombus dissolving medicine from the exterior of the cranial cavity into the interior of the cranial cavity. The head portion (13) is formed with a through-hole (13a). The injection duct (12b) is fitted with an injection tube (16) extending to the outside of the tube portion (12) to form a connecting portion. The connecting portion of the injection tube (16) and the injection duct (12b) is sealingly fixed by a first connecting member (17). The catheter (10) of the present invention can extract humors in the cranial cavity as well as make the injection of the thrombus dissolving medicine easier while maintaining inner-brain pressure. The catheter (10) also eliminates the risks of infection by preventing reflow of humors including a thrombus in the catheter (10).</p> |
