<p>The invention discloses a modular display device comprising several modules (35) each having a thin display unit (3), arranged as an array. Each module comprises a thick frame (20) bearing the module display unit. The display device comprises means for removably fixing the frames and means for actuating the display units. Each module comprising a zone (13) for connecting its display unit with actuating means, located on only one side of the display unit. The modules are so arranged with respect to one another that the connecting zone of a first display unit is covered by the connecting zone of the next display unit. The invention is useful in urban information display or on motorways, in particular by liquid crystal display.</p> |
