<p>A method and apparatus for the treatment of disorders related to decreased myocardial perfusion and cardiac function is provided. A selected beam of radiation is directed to the patient's heart for a predetermined time period, and an angiogenic substance, capable of stimulating growth of blood vessels in the patient, is administered to the patient.</p> |
