PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a simple and effective coating assembly by providing a means to form beads of a liquid adhesive by an adjusting blade and spreader blade and a means to apply the beads to the surface of a moving web material sheet. SOLUTION: Being formed into beads 28 of a glue formed by an adjusting blade 24 having cut parts, a precisely sufficient amount of the glue for the side of a moving stage 17 can be supplied and, at the same time, the layer of the glue on a glue-applying roll 18 is prevented from being quickly dried. Moreover, in front of a gap to move the glue between webs on a downstream side glue applying roll 18 and a second corrugator roller 16, the beads 28 of the glue are spread and a uniform glue layer is formed on the surface of the glue applying roll 18 by a spreader blade 30 moving forward. The beads 28 on the surface of the rotating glue applying roll 18 are spread by being brought into contact with the edge of the spreader blade 30 and thus the uniform layer can be formed. |
