PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image forming device capable of forming a high-quality image by restraining the fluctuation of the rotating speed of an image carrier. SOLUTION: Rotational driving force is given to a developing roller 11 through a gear 36 engaged with a gear 27 attached to a photoreceptor 7. The gear 36 is coupled with the shaft 11a of the roller 11 through an Oldham's coupling 37. The shaft 11a of the roller 11 is movably attached along a slide receiving part 29 through a bearing 28 and always energized to the photoreceptor 7 side by a coil spring 30. The coupling 37 absorbs eccentricity caused by the movement of the shaft 11a of the roller 11 and absorbs the load fluctuation of the photoreceptor 7 to a driving part side so as to keep the rotating speed of the photoreceptor 7 constant.
