The present invention provides as a novel industrial product, a support for sleeping and/or resting such as mattresses, cushions, seats and the like, of the type comprising a wire or wire rod perimetric frame, an internal spring unit of any size, form and amount of springs and a cover; characterized in that the cover includes a functional technical combination of the following layers, described from the inner portion to the outside: an insulating material, cushioning material or materials, a net, a joint intermediate material and a fabric covering all of the aforementioned layers.
