<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To inspect disconnection, etc., of a signal line, and sufficiently prevent a thin film transistor from being subjected to statically charged, by forming a static electricity prevention common wiring corresponding to a gate signal line and a drain signal line without connecting the wirings each other and connecting end parts of the wirings by a conductor after disconnection, etc., is inspected. SOLUTION: Stratic electricity prevention common wirings 10G, 10D are provided to be orthogonal to each gate signal line 2 and each grain signal line 3 is the periphery of a square display area. The wirings 10G, 10D are connected to the signal lines 2, 3 via a static electric protection diode and electrically separated to four by a separating part X. In this state, whether each signal line 2, 3 is disconnected is inspected, or the like inspection is conducted. Then, the display area is positioned at a face of a liquid crystal of a glass substrate 1 by seal material 5 and a conductor 13 is arranged at the separating part X. Another glass substrate 12 is disposed subsequently. End parts of the wirings 10G, 10D are electrically connected by the conductor 13, and held by the substrates 1, 12, so that an arrangement position of the wiring 10G, 10D is maintained.
