PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To keep the revolution of a motor stably even if the voltage of a commercial power source ripples, and decides, dispense with a current control element a heat radiation means required for a large capacitance, by equipping the controller with a phase control means which adjusts the voltage applied to an AC motor so that the quantity of reference currents may be incident with the quantity of currents flowing to the AC motor. SOLUTION: When the voltage of a commercial power source 1 ripples and the voltage applied to an AC motor 2 changes and the currents flowing to the AC motor 2 detected by a current detecting means 8 increases or decreases, a phase control means 4 performs the position control while adjusting the voltage applied to the AC motor 2 so that the currents flowing to the AC motor 2 and the reference currents may coincide with each other by conceling the increase or decrease of the currents flowing to the AC motor 2. Hereby, it becomes possible to get an AC motor revolution controller which can keep the number of revolutions of the motor 2 constant even if the voltage of a commercial power source 1 ripples and besides does not need a current control element or a heat radiation means required for a large capacitance large in capacitance. |
