摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a nonaqueous electrolyte secondary battery with a high capacity and capable of a high rate discharge. SOLUTION: In both surfaces or one surface of a band-shaped positive electrode collector 11 formed of an aluminum substrate, except a region of at least one side edge part, by coating a positive electrode mix layer 14 consisting of a lithium cobalt oxide, conductive agent and binder, in at least one side edge part, a band-shaped positive electrode plate 1 having an uncoated part 12 is formed. A plurality of positive electrode lead terminals 4 are connected by ultrasonic welding to the uncoated part 12 of the positive electrode collector 11. Ratio of a width W of the uncoated part 12 relating to an electrode width L is set to 0.7% or more and 20% or less.
