<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To easily register the format of a document in a short time by inputting the number of character frames and determined coordinates, and finding row positions and the height and width of character frames from the document reference points of the respective character frames and registering them. SOLUTION: A coordinate input tablet 1 has a coordinate detection tablet 2 and a coordinate input pen 5. This device inputs the coordinates of vertexes 17a and 17b on a diagonal of a field end character frame 17 positioned at the end part of a character field and the coordinates of a vertex 18a of a character frame 18 adjoining to the field end character frame 17. Then the row position, character frame, height, and width of the field end character frame 17 are found from the coordinates of the vertexes 17a and 17b, and the pitch of the character frame is found from the coordinates of the vertex 17a and the coordinates of the vertex 18a, and the row positions of the character frames, and the height and width of the character frames are registered from a document reference point 2a according to the found pitch and the number of the character frames. Here, the intersection of document stoppers 7a and 7b is the document reference point 2a of a detection tablet 2.</p> |
