PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a wiring box where the fixation to a pole or the like taking the thickness of a furring strip into consideration can be performed extremely easily, and which can be fixed without a screw head projecting inward of itself, and which is excellent in work efficiency in accommodating a cable or wiring apparatuses, and also which does not break a cable. SOLUTION: This wiring box is equipped with a protrudent outer wall part 11, which has an outer wall 11a corresponding to the thickness of a furring strip in the direction of the bottom from the opening end of the wiring box 10 whose front is open, at the sidewall 10a of the wiring box 10. Then, this is constituted so that the opening face of the above wiring box 10 may be on roughly the same plane as the surface of the furring strip 2, by fixing the outer wall of the bottom wall 11b of the protrudent outer wall part 11 to a structure 3 such as a pole or the like, bringing it into close contact with this structure 3. |
