The inner half is formed by a screw (5) and the outer one by a tapped hollow profiled component (3), whose thread (4) extends at least for the length of the external thread (6) of the screw. The joint (1) is formed by a clearance-fitting portion (10) extending from the rear end (11) and a front close-fitting portion (9) joining onto it, so as to form a fracture point between the ends (11, 16). This produces a transverse crack (17) at a set point after a set number of overloads due to fatigue. The distance of the fracture point from the ends is such that after fracture the screw and hollow component still a form residual joint sustaining alternating loads.
