<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To turn on the power of a personal computer even if a general-purpose mouse and a keyboard are used without adding another power source switch and to economically improve the operability by setting the power of the personal computer to be an on state by receiving an input signal by means of a key which is previously decided in an input unit. SOLUTION: A latch circuit 4 for generating a power on signal by the input signal from a mouse 2 is provided in a power control circuit 1. The input signal from the mouse 2 is connected to an I/O controller for mouse 3 and it is inputted to the latch circuit 4 generating the power on signal. The input signal from the mouse 2 is connected to the output voltage Vbb of an auxiliary power source 6 for permitting the personal computer to set logic to be a decided state when power is turned off. The latch circuit 4 receives the signal from the mouse 2 in an X terminal, adds the conditions of setting (S terminal) and resetting (R terminal) and outputs the power on signal from an output terminal (Y terminal).</p> |
