<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electric connector that is smoothly mounted on and firmly held against a circuit substrate. SOLUTION: This electric connector 10 has a signal terminal 30, a ground terminal 50, and a support terminal 70, all of which are enclosed inside cavities of almost common shapes formed in a housing 20. The signal terminal 30 and the ground terminal 50 have soldering tine parts 33 of almost common shapes, and the support terminal 70 has a support leg 80 that extends shorter than the tine parts 33. The tine parts 33 and the support leg 80 are arranged in a line at the rear of the housing 20. When the electric connector 10 is mounted on a substrate, the support leg 80 energizes the electric connector 10 forward, pressing the tine parts 33 against the inner surfaces of corresponding through holes and firmly holding the electric connector 10 against the circuit substrate.</p> |
