The device has a closing element (11) which is movable from an opening, pre-locking position, through a linear movement in a main locking position. A movable latch is provided to the closing element for latching in the main locking position. The closing element and its latch are moveable by hand pressure or by a motor, with the help of a fork-catch (8). The latch secures the closing element in the main locking position.
