The hinge for the door (10) of a building has a support pin and a shell (11) fixed to the door. There are support surfaces to take up the weight loads exerted between the holder and the shell section. The door can be held in a rest position between the locked and fully opened positions. Each support has an extension to a hinge part and a groove to the other hinge part which engage each other in a partially open position of the door to hold the latter due to the force of the weight of the door.
