<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To make it possible for even a reinforcing insulating members of different external dimensions to be cross-linked unfailingly with the insulating layer of a cable and to prevent an external semi-conducting layer from being creased. SOLUTION: Pressing brackets 11, 12 are put on a reinforcing insulating member 6. Then, nuts 14 are screwed onto the end screwed parts 13b of connecting bolts 13 inserted through flanges 11A, 12A and coil springs 15 for setting a pressing force is provided between the head 13a of the connecting bolts 13 and the flange 11A. Also, protruding edges 16, 16 are provided on the pressing bracket 12 so that, even if both pressing brackets 11, 12 dislocates when the reinforcing insulating member 6 expands in cross-linking, the position of the protruding edges 16 can be adjusted and thereby the deformation of the member 6 can be prevented.</p> |
