PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve the operability of a copying machine making edit for characters present in a surrounded area by allowing the user to surrounding part of an original by a color marker. SOLUTION: The processing unit discriminates whether or not a point 104 in the same color as a marker color is in existence in the inside of a marker frame 100 described on an original (a). When the point 104 is in existence, edit processing in the inside of the frame 100 is cancelled (figure (b)). When the point 104 is not in existence, edit such as print in the same color as the marker color for characters 102a-102c in the inside of the frame 100, for example, is executed. |
