<p>A device with a body (1) and a passage (2) therethrough containing a pivotable throttling member (3) and a shaft (4) rotatably mounted in the body (1) and axially retained therein by a fork (18) with a rounded central portion (18a) and at least one tooth engaging at least one recess such as a groove (14) in an end portion (4a) of the shaft (4), said end portion being housed in a chamber (11) of the body (1) that is sealed by a cover (15) positioning the fork (18) in the chamber (11) in such a way that it engages the groove (14). The device is particularly suitable in butterfly valves and flow control components for controlling the flow of supply air in an internal combustion engine or that of recirculated exhaust gases.</p> |
