PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a radiant tube furnace to reduce an equipment cost, prevent breakage of a radiant tube, uniformize a flow rate of gas in the radiant tube, and besides eliminate the need for wide spaces for a burner on both sides of a furnace body. SOLUTION: A number of radiant tubes 4 are arranged between combustion boxes 3 and 3 on both sides of a furnace chamber 2. A burner 5 is arranged in each combustion box 3 such that an axis is extended at right angles with the axis of the radiant tube 4. Further, the burner 5 has a heat storage body 6 and preferably forms a format wherein the burners effect alternate combustion at the two ends of the radiant tube 4. |
