PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable an aged person to easily go in and out a bathtub and take standing and sitting action by forming the bottom of a bathtub in two, upper and lower stages, and providing an elevating table at the bottom of the lower stage. SOLUTION: The bottom 11 of a bathtub main body 1 comprises two-stage bottom having an upper stage bottom 12 and a lower stage bottom 13, wherein a cornice type elevating table 4 is provided at the bottom 13 of the lower stage, and the table is removably fitted to the bottom 13 of the lower stage by a suction cup disposed on the lower side thereof. Water is supplied or discharge in and from the inside of a bellows drum 42 of the bellows type elevating table 4 by operating a switching lever provided on the side of the bathtub main body 1, and in the case of supply water into the bellows drum 42, a base plate 43 of the bellows type elevating table 4 is raised, and when the base plate 43 is raised up to the highest position, the upper surface of the base plate 43 is substantially aligned with the flange surface 15 of the bathtub 1. In this case of discharging water from the bellows drum 41, the base plate 43 is lowered, and when the base plate is lowered to the lowest position, it reaches a position lower than the bottom 12 of the upper stage. |
