<p>Provided on a glass-breaking table (1) are a lifting strip (12) for breaking scored glass sheets along scoring lines running in the X-direction and a device (30) for breaking the glass sheets along scoring lines running in the Y-direction, conveyor belts (10, 11, 20, 21) being provided in order to move the scored or partly broken glass sheets to the various points of the glass-breaking table (1). In addition, margin-break-off tools (50 and 60) are allocated to the glass-breaking table (1). The margin-break-off tools (50 and 60) break off from the glass sheet marginal strips located outside scoring lines corresponding to zero lines by twisting these marginal strips relative to the glass sheet. Here, the procedure is to first of all break off the marginal strips running in the X-direction by means of the margin-break-off tool (50) before the glass sheet is broken along the scoring lines running in the X-direction. Then, from the individual glass strips thus obtained, further marginal strips located along the zero scoring lines which run in the Y-direction are broken off by margin-break-off tools (60). Only after that are the glass strips divided along the scoring lines running in the Y-direction into the desired glass parts and are transported away by the conveyor belt (21) of the glass-breaking table (1). <IMAGE></p> |
