Pneumatic holder for lance manipulator

The manipulator assembly for a lance, to inject a medium into molten steel, has a two-part pressure sleeve (20) and a housing (31) with a pressure line connection (32) and a moving piston (30) which slides in the housing (31) against the spring (34) tension. It is moved from the clamping nippers (19) through the spring (34) on to the wedge end (23) of the clamping nipper (19) of the lance tube. The movement slide carries the lance holder, to move along the longitudinal line of the lance tube.
