<p>PURPOSE:To uniformly diffuse air over the entire surface of a biological- membrane filtration tank by previously setting a diffuser pipe graded upward in the filtration tank in the axial direction of a septic tank so that the feed port is directed downward. CONSTITUTION:A septic tank 1 has a biological-membrane filtration tank 4. The filtration tank 4 is divided into plural blocks, a diffuser pipe is provided in each block, the diffuser pipe is previously graded upward from horizontal face and set in the axial direction of the septic tank so that the air feed port is directed downward. Consequently, the diffuser pipe is not inclined, and air is uniformly diffused from the diffuser pipe over the entire surface of the filtration tank.</p> |
