PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent the development of rancidity due to anaerobic conversion by advecting a necessary floc on which the contaminant in waste water is decomposed and adsorbed into the front tank of a separation tank, separate the purified water, naturally liberating the moisture in the floc, transpiring the moisture inside and outside the floc by heating to obtain dry sludge and recovering the dry sludge by flaking. SOLUTION: Domestic waste water in a storage tank 1 is advected into an aeration tank 2, and the contaminant is decomposed and adsorbed by activated-sludge bacteria to form a necessary floc 3. The waste water contg. the floc 3 is advected into the front tank 5A of a separation tank 5 by a filtering and depositing screen 4, the floc 3 entrained by the advection is discharged into the upper part outside the separation tank 5, and the purified water passed through the screen 4 is separated into the rear tank 5B. Further, the excess moisture of the floc 3 is naturally liberated, the floc is passed through a heating zone wherein many FIR heaters are arranged in parallel to transpire the moisture inside and outside the floc 3, hence dry sludge is formed, and the dry sludge is recovered by flaking. |
