PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a process for preparing a pressure-sensitive adhesive polarizing plate which can stabilize the degree of crosslinking after aging and offer a pressure-sensitive adhesive polarizing plate having excellent durability by heat-treating a polarizing plate before lamination of a pressure-sensitive adhesive in the preparation of a pressure-sensitive adhesive polarizing plate using an isocyanate crosslinking agent as a main crosslinking agent. SOLUTION: This process comprises laminating an acrylic pressure-sensitive adhesive layer comprising an isocyanate crosslinking agent as a main crosslinking agent onto one side of the polarizing plate, and the polarizing plate is heat treated at 60 to 150 deg.C for 10 to 60sec before lamination of the pressure-sensitive adhesive. The heat treatment causes the solvent remaining in the triacetylcellulose(TAC) constituting a protective film of the polarizing plate to be substantially completely evaporated. As a result, the pressuresensitive adhesive does not undergo inhibition of crosslinking, the adhesion between the pressure-sensitive adhesive layer and the TAC layer is improved, and strong anchoring effects can be attained. Thus, a pressure-sensitive adhesive polarizing plate excellent in heat resistance, durability and optical properties is prepd. |
